How Long Does It Take?
The timeframe for all house extensions depends on a number of factors. Firstly, the scope of the project in terms of what you want to achieve is the biggest contributing factor. Do you want your extension on the side of your property or the rear? Is it a one-story extension or a multi-story? Are foundations already laid, or do we need to lay them?

The duration of the project will be calculated from the beginning and can take a couple of weeks to a couple of months, depending on the scale of the project.

House extensions can be expensive, depending on the size and scope of the project, which is why it’s important to get an accurate quote from a qualified contractor before starting any work.
Typically, house extension prices can range anywhere between £10,000 to £60,000. However, this is just an approximation and every build is completely different, both in design as well as costs involved.
Another thing to consider when extending your property is the time it will take to complete the project. Again, this varies depending on the size and scope of the work involved, but you should generally allow for at least six months from start to fnish.
